Virgin Peruvian Straight hair from Juliet Virgin Hair Co.-Initial Review

              We all know  the anxiety that comes with buying virgin hair from an unknown vendor for the first time. Quite recently, as I was cruising around YouTube, I came across several good reviews of Juliet virgin hair co. and I decided to give it a try. I was quite skeptical when I went to the site and found that this hair was below $350 for 4 bundles because, we all know the price of virgin hair is skyrocketing. So after back and forth conversation with the hair company about the origin, quality and density of the hair, I decided to give it a try.

                On 17th April, I purchased 4 bundles of Virgin Peruvian Straight hair(400g) with lengths 12"14"16"18. I received the hair on 20th April.

It was mailed via DHL and the package contained the hair and complimentary false lashes (which I will probably not use).The first thing I did was run my hands through all the bundles (probably about 1000 times :) and there were approx. two strands of hair. The hair was a bit coarse. It was true to length and the ends were very full.  One thing I observed was that, even though it said straight in the product description, each bundle had a unique wave pattern ..It came in natural colors; the 18" was more brunette than the 16",14, and 12" which was dark brown

There were few streaks of grey hair which I think is almost always normal with virgin hair. The hair has proper and neat wefts.It smelled as though it has had a deep chemical bath, which the company claims is to sanitize the hair.They have pretty good customer service.

        Before I co-washed the hair I decided to perform a burn test with my own hair, synthetic hair and the virgin hair. I lit up the synthetic hair and it curdled together, similar to burning plastic, then I did the same test on a piece of my own hair and the Peruvian hair, both  burned to ashes, that reassured me that at least it wasn't horse hair ;).

                            After, I used the Creme of Natures Aragan oil sulphate  free shampoo and  Aragan oil of Morocco conditioner, and these two products left the hair feeling silky smooth and moisturised. Then after air drying the hair I realised it still maintained its wave pattern as how it originally looked; with more flexibility and bounce to it. As a matter of fact, there was a bit of shedding but nothing too crazy.So far, I think I like the hair and for now I believe its a big bang for your buck!
